在雅思口语的Part1以及Part3的考查部分，有一种常见出题方式名为Comparing，即观点比较题。此类题型常出现于Part1的后半部分，或者在Part3的前三个问题以内提出。主要考查两个近义概念的联系与区别，比如man & woman, fruits & vegetables, health & wealth, etc…

　　首先我们来看出题方式，主要有求异提问和求同提问两种。

　　何谓求异提问？即为A,B两个概念一争高下，通常以比较级形式提问：

　　Which is more important (adj.etc.), A or B?

　　何谓求同提问？即向考生询问A和B在状态，时间变化等情况下“一样吗”：

　　Do old and young people like the same holidays?

　　Do men and women like the same holidays?

　　Are schools nowadays the same as schools in the past?

　　Are restaurants nowadays the same as restaurants in the past?

　　Nowadays, do people make new friends in the same way as people 20 years ago?

　　Is public transportation nowadays the same as public transportation 20 years ago?

　　对于这两类问题，我们完全可以反其道而行之，将求异问题同化回答，求同问题异化回答，从而得出结论。

　　一，求异同化法

　　下面举近期热点真题举例：

　　真题一： Which is a more important, eating fruit or eating vegetables?

　　1， 首先，我们完全可以将思路定义为，两者是一样重要的。

　　Well obviously/clearly/undoubtedly, eating fruit is of the same importance as eating vegetables.

　　2， 在这种命题下，我们只需要找出吃水果和吃蔬菜的益处的交集，举两个原因，就可轻易得出论证：

　　基础fundamental，食物链food chain最根本，缺一不可；营养notorious，富含蛋白质Protein、维他命vitamin，否则摄入不均衡

　　3， 最后，可以补充一点自己的感想，从自己出发，找一个原因来解释，这是非常容易的。

　　Personally, I prefer/would rather choose…

　　练习：Which one do you think is more important, health or wealth?

　　二，求同异化法　

　　真题二： Do men and women like the same hobbies?

　　1, 思路类似求异同化，首先，反向推导问题，认为AB两者是有很多截然不同之处的。

　　Well obviously/clearly/undoubtedly, there are a number of possible differences here.

　　2，再者，分别找出二者不同于对方的两点最明显的一处特性：

　　However, I guess/would say/suppose that the most significant/fundamental would be that men tend to prefer sporting activities such as football or basketball. Whereas in contrast/on the other hand/on the contrary, women prefer things like shopping for clothes.

　　3，第三句中补充另一条不同点，非常简单。

　　In addition/additionally/moreover, men usually like watching sports; while on the other hand, women are more likely to prefer watching soap operas on TV.

　　下面我们再来看一个考查时间变化的例题，回答的原则同上：

　　真题三： Explain different attitudes towards marriage between people in the past and now.

　　1，Well, I’m not exactly sure of it since I have been quite a busy student over the past *** years. But, let me try to search my memory and answer your question.

　　2，第一个重要区别在于，人们看待婚姻在生活中的地位的改变：In the past, people, women in particular, generally revolved their life around giving birth and raising children. However people now are no longer seeing marriage and family as their only thing in life.

　　3，第二个区别在于，人们更向往单身的自由了。In addition/additionally/moreover, with the availability of a wide range of entertainment parlors, young people prefer to enjoy their carefree life as a single person before they have to take a lot of responsibilities as a married one.
